Originally from a lobby of a bank in Boston, this stained glass dome travelled to Carmel, California in the 1980’s where it was cut in half and installed in a private residence on the coast. It spent four years open to the elements. At some point, most of the glass was coated with silicone, and plexiglass was installed over the glass with no ventilation, causing severe stress and damage to the glass.
